Pounds to Parks

Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains how Pounds to Parks ("we", "us") handles personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Pounds to Parks is a small independent travel channel. For anything about your data, email poundstoparks@gmail.com.

The short version

  • This website has no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
  • It doesn't load any third-party fonts, scripts or embeds when you visit.
  • There are no forms. We only get your details if you choose to email us.

What we collect and why

  • If you email us: your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in answering messages. We keep emails for up to 2 years and then delete them, unless an ongoing conversation needs them for longer.
  • Server logs: the company that hosts this website may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is to keep the site secure and working. Our host is Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages); see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. We don't use these logs to identify you.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and to travel companies, some of them through affiliate links (see our disclosure). When you click through, that website and any affiliate network it uses (for example Impact or CJ) may set its own cookies to track that you came from us. Their own privacy policies apply, so please read them.

Embedded videos

We don't currently embed videos. If we add them, we'll use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode with click-to-play, so nothing loads from YouTube until you choose to play a video, and we'll update this policy.

Sharing your data

We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), which processes messages on our behalf. Some providers may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to or restrict how we use it. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

Children

This website is aimed at adults planning holidays. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we add anything like analytics, a newsletter or video embeds, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
